        Elephant Graveyard
        Animated TV-Series

In a post-apocalyptic world, where apparently the future doesn’t look as grim as it always does in the movies, we follow a ragtag band of adventurers traveling towards a common goal: The Elephant Graveyard.

We follow K’naan as she leaves her village to start out on her “last big adventure”. She has accepted the fact that her time has come and is basically travelling towards her death. Unfortunately, her partner Doruk has very much not accepted this and is set on coming along and convincing K’naan that she still has plenty to live for.

Along the way more odd characters join this old couple's journey and share the last adventure.

      • K’naan is the protagonist of the story who’s leaving home for one last big adventure. She’s seen it all and is ready to pass on. She’s a veteran adventurer and retired warrior who really love nature but has had it with those gosh darned insects.
Doruk is the partner of K’naan. She both can’t and won’t let go of K’naan. Therefore, she decided to come with, and has her mind set on changing the K’naan’s mind. Problem is – she’s not left the village for a long, long time.
      • Dear Evan Hansen

        Animated Feature

Visual development for the musical Dear Evan Hansen.

"A letter that was never meant to be seen, a lie that was never meant to be told, a life he never dreamed he could have.
Evan Hansen is about to get the one thing he’s always wanted: a chance to finally fit in."

      • The Débutante

        Hybrid Book

A hybrid comic-picture book project adapting the short story The Débutante by Leonora Carrington. The story was also adapted into a mock up pamphlet for a Zoo.

      • Hall of Fame

        Graphic Novel

In the afterlife, the place to be is the ex-gentlemen’s club called “The Hall of Fame”. Here, only the ones who’ve had an historical impact are on the VIP list and are allowed in. In the midst of masses of famous men, everybody from Einstein to Napoleon, we find a sole table populated by women.

These few women have made their way into history and here they plan to stay, and of course drink. And tell stories. And get rowdy.

Come and listen to their stories!

        Full pitch available upon request.

        Chinese Short Stories

        Graphic Novel, 96 pages
        2017, Tusen Serier

This is my debut graphic novel that I have written, illustrated and colored. It’s based on a series of recorded interviews I conducted with my mother about her time growing up in the middle of the Cultural Revolution in China.

“In the mid-1960s, the Cultural Revolution swept across China, changing the lives of countless people. A whole generation's most formative years took place in remote rural areas when city-born kids were sent to China's countryside to become rusticated youth. Join in on the winding tale of how a teenage girl from Beijing ended up as one of the few truck-driving women in the midst of the Up to the Mountains and Down to the Countryside movement.”

      • Red Deporte Campus

        Informational Pamphlet , 24 pages
        2018, Red Deporte (NGO)

This pamphlet was created during a 5 week period where I worked closely with the director of Red Deporte, a NGO the promotes health, education, integration and employability through sports. Made as part comic, part info-graphic this pamphlet is aimed at donors and volunteers and showcases a campus for youth and children that the Red Deporte wants to construct in Zambia.

      • Adventure!

        Short story

This started as an hourly comic exercise. Inspired by urban exploring I created five of these pages in 5 hours. Because I really enjoyed the aesthetics of this comic I later added an extra page and colored it.
